Well, the combination of the Enbrel and UVB therapy is making incredible progress for me. No more plaque, anywhere. All I have now is some pink patchy skin where the plaques used to be. So far I'm 8 weeks into the Enbrel shots (50mg/ml 2x/week), and about 12 weeks into phototherapy. I'm down to twice a week now for the lightbox, and we've decided to keep the treatments now at 3.1 joules per session (about 9.5 minutes). I'll post some new pics soon, just have to get my wife to take some.
An interesting side note, my doctor mentioned to me a new psoriasis drug that's in phase 3 clinical trials, apparently it's so effective that one shot can last up to 6 months, and people seem to get around 90% clearance with it. He's going to try to get me in the phase 4 trials as soon as they are available.

Re: Major progress
Tue, June 5, 2007 - 9:22 AMHello SpiritFire,
I just recently cured my psoriasis after 15 years. I discovered that psoriasis (any skin condition, acne, excema, psoriasis, etc) is caused by the body trying to release impurities through the skin. I am in the middle of a 30 day "all natural" cleanse and my psoriasis is clearing after just 9 days into the program. Durgs will not cure this disease, they will only prolong it. I've also lost several inches around my waist and I feel a level of wellness I haven't felt in years. I'm 42 years old and feel young and healthy again. Please email me with any questions about the program I'm on: smiholick@gmail.com

Re: Major progress
Thu, June 7, 2007 - 6:39 PMYou've discovered this, without a medical background? Amazing. And it only took medical researchers a few hundred years to discover what causes psoriasis.
I've looked into your profile, and discovered you're involved in the MLM marketing for this so called "cure".
Sorry, but you're being ejected from this group. This is not the place for trying to market your cures, this is a support group to help each other with legit information, and emotional support.

Re: Major progress
Sat, June 9, 2007 - 7:50 AMI have been on enbrel for 6 months now and though I still have a little patchiness and redness it has improved significantly!! I also have the pink areas, though maybe they will eventually go away as well.
Just started Chantix to quit smoking and maybe when I accomplish that I will see further improvement.
Congrats on the progress you've had, SF.
